Rosa Leo Overfield, 87, of Glencoe, AR, died Friday, March 13, 2026 at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, AR.
She was born the daughter of Edward and Vida Imogene (Eubanks) Frost on January 22, 1939 in Casa, AR.
Rosa married Cecil Wayne Overfield, the love of her life. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2015.
The Overfields lived in Joliet, IL, for 30 years and moved to Arkansas when Cecil retired in 1984. They enjoyed bowling and going to Tunica, MS, to play the slot machines.
Rosa loved playing games. Dominoes and Uno were two of her favorites, although at Uno she often finished the hand with so many cards she had to set some on the table. She was an avid gardener and quilter. She collected elephants and chickens. Rosa loved her cats.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who treasured her time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Carlos “Pete” Overfield and his wife, Lynn “Tequilla” Freeman.
She is survived by her children: Kenneth William (Melissa) Overfield, Thomas Edward Overfield, Sr and Pamela Jo Overfield; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
