Timothy Edward Yancy, 60, of Wyaconda died April 12. 2026 at his home.
He was born the son of EL and Mary Evelyn (Kimble) Yancy on February 5, 1966 in Pocahantas, AR.
Tim married the former Barbara Pruett on June 8th, 1996. They later divorced.
He was a hard worker. Tim helped fight the flood of 1993 will with the JTPA and later did all manor of home construction, from drywall to roofing. He later worked for Clark County Road and Bridge and his last job was at the sawmill in Arbela.
Tim loved to tinker and build little things. He would use anything he could find from scrap metal and buttons to make something new.
Tim was preceded in death by: his father; mother; a sister, Vickie Sue Parker and nephew, Deon Issac Regan.
He is survived by his daughter, Abigail Yancy of Kirksville; a grandson, Corvo Yancy of Kirksville; stepdaughter, Baillie (Randall) Ledford of Kirksville; step grandchildren, Raillie Ledford and Saillie Pruett of Kirksville; brother, Charles (Karen) Yancy of Luray; sisters: Vonda (Vic) Martin of Pocahantas, Donna (Jim) Venson of Maynard, AR, Sarah Yancy of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
