Eddie Wayne Hicks, 68, of Wyaconda died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his home.
He was born the son of Eura Edward and Mary (Owens) Hicks on January 5, 1951 in Muscatine, IA.
Eddie married the former Sharon “Shari” Lucille Alloway on May 2, 1971 at the Mulford Evangelical Free Church in Muscatine.
He worked at Hon Industries and Gaeta Construction in Muscatine before retiring in Wyaconda. Eddie enjoyed spending time with Shari and construction. He was proud to be a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Shari, of the home; son, Ryan, of Denver, CO; daughter, Staci (Hicks) Stanton and her husband Pete of Wyaconda; and a sister, Stella Brus and her husband Gale of Oklahoma City, OK.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.

I was very sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. When we both worked at Prime Mover many years ago I always enjoyed his company & friendship. I’m sure everyone that knew Ed will miss him, he was a great guy.
